Grandchildren For A Day

In conjunction with Parents’ Day, Great Heart Charity Association (GHCA) and Sunway Student Volunteers (SSV) has collaborated for an event – Grandchildren for A Day, at the Pusat Penjagaan Orang Tua Sentosa in Klang for 4 consecutive weekends.

A total of 40 volunteers participated in this event and they were assigned to different tasks every week, which include repainting works for the gate, fence, interior, and exterior walls of the centre, cleaning duties, and interacting sessions with the elders. GHCA played the role of mentor to SSV and funded the event, while SSV assisted to enlist students to participate in the meaningful event.
