On 18th April, 81 staffs from Advanced Micro Devices Global Services (M) Sdn Bhd (AMD) have contributed their time for a Community Day event at Destiny Starting Point old folks’ home and Great Heart Community Centre. A special thanks to AMD in sponsoring RM12,000 worth of charitable fund which benefited to 250 old folks and underprivileged families.
Aside from contributing their time in gardening, painting and clean-up activities, AMD staffs have made their contribution counts by either adopting a wish from the old folks or assisted to purchase groceries and tools for the Destiny Starting Point. Many of the beneficiaries expressed happiness while receiving their personal gifts and thanked the volunteers for lending a helping hand to their cause.
