A visit to a place I once grew up in
Rumah Kanak-Kanak Impian was the first place I learnt to accept myself, accept the differences of others and to appreciate what was given to me. It was in the home that I first learnt my English. I left Rumah Impian when I was 10 years old but I still remember them to this days. To repay them for what they have done, I visited the kids who is currently at the home to share my happiness and to basically give them back what I have gained from Rumah Impian. I want them to feel that it’s not sad or pitiful to be in a home but to be grateful for all the help from the sponsors. I love seeing the smile and happiness on their faces. Even when I left, they told me to come back which I would. It was the best memory they have given to me.
