After going through a farming and composting workshop recently, it got me thinking that since organic farmers often compost their biomass waste in farms that will reduce waste from ending up in landfills, I could do the same by creating a Home Compost at home using covered containers, since I do a fair bit of cooking at home. My little project took me 1 hour to drill holes on 3 buckets that created 3 Home Composting Bins. I now store my veggie, fruit peel, and egg shell waste into the composting bins, and am now on my way to create my very own home compost that could be used in my little garden after mixing the waste with dried leaves. Less waste will be placed into plastic garbage bags that goes to landfills! You too can do the same as the process is pretty simple!
