I’ve always loved “helping people/ volunteering “ all my life I guess. And I was scrolling down my Facebook feed one day and I saw a very beautiful message that said, “If you want to truly lose yourself in something, let it be service. Service to your creator in prayer, and service to the people, and to your family first in charity. There is nothing that softens the heart and brings tranquillity than exerting yourself physically to uplift others. Away from the shallowness of the material world and all its noise. That’s where you find fulfillment ☺️”.
It’s a long message but very beautiful, it reminded me of who I am and I who I wanted to be. Through Sunway Student Volunteers club I have volunteered in a lot of events. And this one right here was the best thing ever. It was through Teddy mobile clinic that I got to help this homeless man! It was just cleaning his wound but the feeling of helping someone is very beautiful I say❤️
