Make charitable giving part of your life
I started to join Great Heart Charity as social media posting committee in 2015. This lovely and charming big family gradually influences and inspire me to embark the path of charity and doing good in my life as i can.
At first, I always thought that students or youngster like me have nothing to do with charity contribution and kind donation. But soon i changed my mind when i realized every act of kindness counts, the affection and spirit of love will spread in a ripple effect and ultimately benefits every mankind. I am now studying aboard in Australia for my final year of university, i still hold on my belief in charitable giving and social caring that was taught by Great Heart Charity.
That was a windy dawn in Australia when I first saw ‘The Big Issue’ magazine when a old lady vendor was shivering in the coldness and waving high the magazine to the pedestrians. She courteously introduces to me how these social enterprise’s magazine are making a living to her as half of the selling incomes are given to them as an authorized vendor, mostly underprivileged , homeless or marginalized people in the society.
7 dollar in my pocket might end up in bubble tea shop for my divert living spending but for her is to heal the starve. I am not someone who rich in materialistic but i know this what i worth paying for, a heart-warming smile and a better world.
