半年前，耕心慈善赞助了 Mr. Rahman 每月RM700为期半年的洗肾费用津贴。 当时这位巫裔老伯年龄66岁，身体不适无法工作而家里还有两位女儿正在就读大学；月领千余元的养老金但洗肾每个月的治疗费用高达RM2000，家庭经济条件实在不佳。
然而在耕心慈善的赞助下，Rahman 先生如今健康状况大有改善，身体硬朗有力。义工访问面谈时，他更是神采奕奕。
他满怀感恩说道：“ 透过耕心的援助，家庭经济负担减轻许多，让我更有信心面对病魔和生活的压力。现在我可以经常抱着笑容面对眼前的任何问题。现在我也得到了Dewan Bahasa dan Mustaka 的全力援助与关怀，特别感谢耕心慈善一路来的支持。喜上加喜的是女儿终于毕业了，一切的都变得更好了！
During October 2016, Abdul Rahman bin Ishak, aged 66 from Hulu Langat asked for help from Great Heart Charity to support him on the dialysis cost when he was diagnosed with kidney disease.
A few years ago, he worked as an administrator in Dewan Pustaka earning a monthly salary of RM1,500. However, after being diagnosed with kidney disease, he was unable to work.
Fortunately, his place of employment gave him a monthly pension of RM1,500, but the amount is not enough to cover his medical fees of RM2400 each month as well as his family’s living expenses, and extra expense of RM600 to cover his two kids’ university expenses.
After six months of help in Great Heart dialysis aid of Rm720 monthly from October 2016 until April 2017, our social worker is glad to hear him saying that even though his haemogoblin level is a bit low, but his physical condition is very stable and healthy.
He had successfully applied the full assistance of Dewan Bahasa dan Mustaka and doesn’t require help from Great Heart anymore, with her daughter finishing university and supporting the family now.
