GHCC is a community centre established by Great Heart to serve as a platform to contribute and assist underprivileged groups. The main programs currently conducted at GHCC are as per follow:

The “Lunch Box for the Hungry” project is a food donation project to feed the hungry, destitute, and poor living within the vicinity of GHCC with the hope that it may ease their burden and help change their lives for a better tomorrow.
How we help?
Free lunches will be given out to pre-registered and walk-in clients in the form of prepacked lunch boxes at GHCC from Monday-Saturday (except public holidays). Over 260 lunch box sets will be allocated for each day’s lunch session on a first-come, first-served basis.
How can you help?
Monetary donation to support the project. Every month, RM43,680 is required for the project, which totals RM524,160 per year.
Volunteer your time to help out during the distribution session that will usually last around 3 hours.
TCM or Traditional Chinese Medicine is built on a foundation of more than 2,500 years of Chinese medical practice that includes various forms of herbal medicine, acupuncture, massage, and dietary therapy. It is primarily used as a complementary alternative medical approach. GHCC provides an avenue for the underprivileged to receive TCM treatment for free.
How we help?
Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, GHCC conducts a half-day free TCM check-up and treatment session for underprivileged groups, especially those from old folks’ homes. Treatment available includes acupuncture and cupping. Members from the public are welcome to join the session via donations.
How can you help?
Monetary donation to support the project. Every month, RM1,500 per month is required for the project, which totals RM18,000 per year.
Volunteer TCM practitioners/doctors who are willing to provide their service to GHCC so that we can extend our duration of service.
Classes, workshops, and activities play an important role for growth and development. This is true not only for underprivileged groups, but is equally important for volunteers and members of the public from all walks of life to cultivate new skills and knowledge.
How we help?
The classes that are run in GHCC include:
- English, Bahasa Malaysia tuition classes (every Saturday excluding weekends)
- Computer class
- Yoga
GHCC also accepts local and international interns from across the globe so that they get to learn and experience life working in an NGO.

How can you help?
Monetary donation to support the project. Every month, RM2,000 is required to cater for the cost of running the classes, workshops, activities, and the interns allowances, which totals RM24,000 per year.
Volunteer as a tutor, workshop organiser, or to help with events or activities.
Van sponsorship to transport children to and fro from orphanage homes.
Over 2,000 square feet of land has been designated as a community vegetable garden, where volunteers get to learn, work, and sweat together to grow crops of vegetables for the community.
How we help?
Vegetables are grown at the community garden and distributed to old folks’ homes, orphanages, and the underprivileged who come for the Lunch Box for the Hungry project upon harvesting.
How can you help?
Volunteer your time by helping out at our community garden. Help is needed for weeding, planting, harvesting, and maintaining the garden.
Assistance on beautifying the garden area’s walkway in between separate vegetable plots using suitable options (eg. EVA sheets/EDPM).
